Chapter News:

4th Annual UPHA Chapter 8 Horse Show

Plans are underway for the 2010 Chapter 8 Horse Show, to be held April 22-24 at the TriState Exhibition Center in Cleveland, TN. "We are excited about this year's show," said James Hale, Chairman. "We listened to suggestions and have made some changes to our previous schedule - and we added a Judge!"

Previously, in both an effort to create a relaxed atmosphere and to allow the show to get started financially, a Judge was chosen for each class from the Trainers and experienced amateurs present. This year, Steve Chadick from Tomball, TX will mark the cards in all divisions.

The Friday morning performance has been eliminated, to allow people more free time to enjoy the beautiful Tennessee mountains and all the area attractions. Friday evening the Exhibitor Party will be a Carnival! We're inviting each stable to participate by sponsoring a carnival game or activity. "We think this will be fun for everyone and will allow the kids to interact with each other," said Hale.
